The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified companies for the provision of:
1.1 A Farm Register software module;
1.2 Three software modules for the management of sanitary-veterinary supervision integrated with the SITA: (i) Inspection and internal control of animal movements and inspection of holdings and slaughter houses (IC); (ii) Management of Strategic Measures (MSM), and; (iii) GIS Systems.

Your offer comprising of technical proposal and price schedule/financial proposal, in separate sealed envelopes, marked with “RFP: information systems in agriculture (SITA)” should reach the UNDP office no later than 30 June 2011, 16:00 local time.

UPDATE 27/06/2011: In view of multiple requests from prospective offerors, and pursuant to Clause 5 of the Instructions to Offerors, in order to afford prospective offerors reasonable time in which to take into account the latest set of clarification questions and answers in preparing their offers, UNDP Moldova is hereby extending the deadline for the submission of Proposals until 4 July 2011, 13:00 (Moldova local time). All rights and obligations of UNDP Moldova and offerors previously subject to the deadline specified under Clause 16 of the Instructions to Offerors will be subject to the deadline as extended. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation documents, except as amended herein, shall remain unchanged and shall continue in full force and effect.

UPDATE 27/06/2011: Third, and last, set of Clarification Questions and Answers received as of 24/06/2011 are now published below. Pursuant to Clause 4 of the Instructions to Offerors, requests for clarification of solicitation documents will no longer be accepted.
