UNAIDS Moldova in collaboration with the Tiraspol AIDS Centre intends to conduct a research targeting to assess women and girls' vulnerability to HIV/AIDS in Transnistria region of the Republic of Moldova(the left bank of Dniester River). The national company will be hired to conduct a quantitative and qualitative research. The sociological company shall design the sampling methodology to ensure representativeness for the left bank of Nistru, and shall discuss and clear the proposed sampling methodology with the Tiraspol AIDS centre and UNAIDS. The questionnaire for the quantitative research (regionally representative survey) will be provided in Russian, and is to be translated in any other language by the sociological company. Following the field testing results, all versions of questionnaire for quantitative research are to be adjusted. The sociological company will also develop the semi - structured interviews guides (in-depth interviews and focus groups). The groups of participants will be selected in conjunction with UNAIDS Moldova and the Tiraspol AIDS Centre. UNAIDS Moldova will supervise and coordinate the conduction of the whole survey. The Contractor is asked to prepare the Price Schedule/Financial Proposal and submit it in a separate envelope from the rest of the RFP response.
