The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from the qualified companies to undertake a study on existing economic opportunities for women in rural areas of Moldova with specific focus on 4 rayons[1], which will further serve as (i) baseline data for the current Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) program initiatives in these rayons and (ii) basis for development of a potential small and medium enterprise (SME) component within WEE and to link the programme to existing SME and micro credit initiatives in the country

Your offer comprising of (1) technical proposal and (2) price schedule/financial proposal, in separate sealed envelopes, marked with “RFP: Services for undertaking a study on economic opportunities for rural women in Moldova /UNIFEM WEE program” should reach the UNDP office no later than 18 November 2010, 5:00 pm (Moldova time).

Offers can be submitted either in hard copy, or electronically. Offers received by fax will be rejected. Incomplete offers shall not be examined.
