		      <td valign="top"><p>The purpose of the project is to assist Moldova reduce consumption of ODSs (Ozone Depleting Substances), stipulated in Annex A Gr. I of the Montreal Protocol by 50% by 2005 and by 85% by 2007 by 85% from its baseline of 73,0 ODP (Ozone Depleting) Tones. </p>

		        <li> Provide incentive funding to assist industrial and commercial ODS end-users (enterprises) using CFC (R-12 &amp; R-502) based refrigeration in their production processes or cold storage facilities to convert or retrofit these to employ non-ODP or low-ODP refrigerants, such as HFC-134a or HCFC-22; </li>
		        <li>Supply 4 MAC Recovery and Recycling machines and service tools for MAC; </li>
		        <li>Training in the retrofit of MAC units to HFC -134a; </li>
		        <li>Organize a workshop to introduce and explain the end-user Incentive Programme to refrigeration end-users, service enterprises and other concerned parties; </li>
		        <li>Train MAC service technicians on RMP, retrofit procedures and the recovery and recycling of refrigerants; </li>
		        <li>Provide 4 MAC R&amp;R machines and 6 sets of MAC service equipment and tools to MAC service enterprises. </li>

                  <li>Reduce the CFC refrigerants by 7.182 tones per year; </li>
                  <li>Technical and financial assistance to end-users in phasing out ODS; </li>
                  <li>Improve service practices in refrigeration; </li>
                  <li>Improve maintenance practices and upgrade the equipment of technicians responsible for repair and servicing of R&amp;A/C equipment and installations or MAC units. </li>
