UNDP supports the development of the National Environmental Strategy of the Republic of Moldova

Chisinau, April 22 , 2011 – UNDP projects "Support for Environmental Protection" and "Transitional Capacity Support for the Public Administration of Moldova" provided support to the Ministry of Environment in organization of the National Workshop on the development of the National Environmental Strategy of the Republic of Moldova for the period of 2012-2022. During the Workshop was discussed the draft structure of the National Environmental Strategy of the Republic of Moldova for 2012-2022 and the general objectives for the 10 years ahead with regard to the promotion of sustainable development and green growth principles. As well, it was discussed the integration of environment related requests into country social-economic development priorities, the establishment of sectorial objectives as well as development and environment indicators.
