Proofreaders of specialized Training Materials - NIJ Project

Background:
UNDP Moldova is seeking to employ one or several professionals to proofread developed specialized components of initial training curricula for candidates enrolled in the training provided to the National Institute of Justice (NIJ)..

Tasks and Responsibilities:

The main objective of this assignment is to proofread NIJ specialized training materials prior to their publication.

Qualifications and skills required:

Education: University or Higher Degree (MA and Ph.D.) in Philology, Journalism, Foreign Languages or Law.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in proofreading, publishing, journalism or other related areas (experience in proofreading legal materials is an asset).

Abilities:

  • Excellent semantically and contextual analysis, ensuring clarity of the proofread materials and retaining accuracy;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet dead-lines;
  • Extensive PC skills;
  • Fluent in English or French Languages.

Personal qualities: responsibility, creativity, promptness and punctuality.
