MCC Agriculture Expert - “Improved Capacities for Managing Development” (Umbrella) project

Background:
UNDP supports the national development priorities of the Republic of Moldova through capacity building in the formulation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of development policies and programmes and through strengthening the national capacity to mobilize donor resources for their implementation. Within this framework UNDP provides support to national authorities in developing the Compact proposal for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Tasks and responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for the final tuning of the ‘Transition to High Value Agriculture’ component of Moldova’s Compact proposal forwarded to the MCC.

Qualifications and skills required:

University degree in Agriculture, Economics or other relevant field;

• Good knowledge of agriculture issues;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the field;
• Experience in drafting TOR/business/project proposals is an advantage;
• Fluent in spoken and written Romanian and English;
• Good computer skills (MS Office).
