Organizational context:
Under the overall guidance of the Deputy Resident Representative and the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, the Administrative Associate ensures execution of transparent and efficient human resources management services in the CO. The Administrative Associate promotes a collaborative, client-oriented approach and supports to the maintenance of high staff morale.
The incumbent supervises clerical and support staff of the HR Unit. He/She works in close collaboration with the operations, programme and projects’ staff in the CO and UNDP HQs staff for providing key advice and resolving HR-related issues and information exchange..

- Organization, administration and implementation of human resources management strategies and policies
- Provision of HR services
- Staff performance management and career development
- Conduct of UN-related surveys
- Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing
Requirements for applicants:
- Secondary Education with specialized certification in HR. University Degree in HR, Business or Public Administration would be desirable, but it is not a requirement.
- 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible HR experience is required. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and experience in handling of web based management systems.
- Fluency in Romanian and English. Fluency in Russian is a strong advantage.
