MCC Administrative Assistant- “Improved Capacities for Managing Development” (Umbrella) project

Background:
UNDP supports the national development priorities of the Republic of Moldova through capacity building in the formulation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of development policies and programmes and through strengthening the national capacity to mobilize donor resources for their implementation. Upon the request of the Government of Moldova, UNDP Moldova is seeking to employ an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) Compact development Team through administrative actions, ensuring high quality, accuracy, timeliness and consistency of work.  

Qualifications and skills required:

  • University degree in economics, public administration, law, social science  or other related field;
  • At least two years of experience in administrative work, accounting, economics, public administration or other substantive area is required.
  • Previous experience in development assistance or related work for a donor organization, governmental institutions, NGO or private sector / consulting firm;
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Romanian and English is a must. Knowledge of Russian desired.
  • Experience in communicating and cooperating with governmental, non- governmental, donors and private agencies;
  • Proficiency in using computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet and e-mail), experience in handling web based management systems.
