National consultant: 2 persons - “Terminal Phase-out Management Plan ” project

Background:
The Terminal CFC Phase-out Management Plan will result in the complete phase-out of CFCs by 1 January 2010. The project includes capacity building, technical assistance and investment activities.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Establishment of potential end-users eligible to receive incentive payment;
- Assessment of end-users application;
- Monitoring of retrofit and conversion of R12/502 systems.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Engineering degree or equivalent, related to refrigeration equipment;
- At least 10 (ten) years experience in the refrigeration sector;
- Working experience with the governmental and non-governmental organizations and experience in implementing technical assistance projects;
- Availability of certificate on good practices in refrigeration.
- Good knowledge on recovery, recycling, retrofitting and conversion of refrigeration industrial and commercial equipment, non-CFC technologies and performance of ODS alternatives;
- Ability to perform refrigeration load calculation;
- Good computer skills.
