National Consultant/ Trainer ToT - “Increasing financial sustainability of Civil Society Organizations in the Republic of Moldova” Project

Background:
UNDP Moldova is seeking to employ a National Consultant to develop and deliver a five-day Training of Trainers to a group of 20 representatives of the specialized national and local NGOs or free lancers, in provision of services by Non-Governmental Organizations.
Tasks and responsibilities:
In order to achieve objectives the contractor will:
- study relevant documents (Assessment Study on legal framework regarding noncommercial organizations in the Republic of Moldova, Study on development of Non-governmental Organizations in the Republic of Moldova etc.);
- develop the concept of the ToT, teaching aids (including agenda, working methods and procedures, handouts and evaluation forms) and ToT programme which will be discussed with the Project Team;
- advise on background materials to be distributed and develop the list of equipment and materials which is necessary for carrying out training sessions;
- successfully deliver ToT;
- elaborate and submit the final report on the ToT.
Qualifications and skills required:
- University degree in economics, social sciences, education or related fields;
- Good knowledge of Civil Society in the Republic of Moldova;
- At least 5 years of extensive working experience in conducting trainings and consulting in provision of services by NGOs, NGO management, NGO marketing, small business development;
- Authentic experience in provision of services by NGOs will be taken as an advantage;
- Proved experience in working with the international organizations (successful experience in working with UNDP is an asset);
- Skills in developing analytical and informative materials;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Excellent communications skills;
- Initiative and resourcefulness;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Excellent knowledge of Romanian.
