Country Security Focal Point/Security Guard Coordinator

Organizational context:
Under the direct supervision of the Deputy Resident Representative (primary supervisor) and Designated Official (secondary supervisor), the Country Security Focal person/Security Guard Coordinator provides reliable security services ensuring protection of UN House personnel and premises. The Country Security Focal person/Security Guard Coordinator demonstrates a client-oriented approach, high sense of responsibility, courtesy, tact and the ability to work with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
Summary of key functions:
- Acts as the Country Security Focal Point
- Controls admissions and movements of personnel and visitors to/within the UN House premises
- Proactively deals with / responds to emergencies affecting the safety of the UN House personnel and premises
Requirements for applicants:
Education: Secondary Education.
Experience: 3 years work experience in a similar position in which trustworthiness and sound and quick judgment have been demonstrated.
References required.
Language Requirements: Fluency in Romanian and Russian. Knowledge of English would be an advantage.
