Real Economy Consultant (Support to Central Public Administration Reform project)
Background:
The Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister is established to provide the necessary advice to the First Deputy Prime Minister in creating and ensuring effective functioning of the system of strategic planning and policy coordination in the area of responsibility of the First Deputy Prime Minister. To this end, a small team of local consultants providing support to the First Deputy Prime Minister was set starting January 2006 providing advice, assessment of main policy documents in the economic and social sectors, being responsible for monitoring of key commitments of the Republic of Moldova with its development partners.
Tasks and responsibilities:
The Real Economy Consultant, working as part of the Policy Advice team, is expected to provide ongoing advice and assistance to the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister by: contribution to the formulation of key strategic short to medium-term priorities for the Government’s economic policy sector; supporting the development of the concept for ministry/sector-level strategic planning; preparation of the annual real sector inter-ministerial activity plans in the policy making; supporting the ministries in preparation of the quarterly reports to the First Deputy Prime Minister on delivery of activities included in annual inter-ministerial activity plan, etc.
Requirements:
Currently employed public servants, as well as those who have resigned from their positions less than six month prior to this announcement are not eligible to apply.
