Background
The GSB aims to broker public-private partnerships that enable the private sector to engage in specific pro-poor investment projects that are both, commercially attractive and address local development needs.  The overall goal of the project is to broker and facilitate linkages between large businesses, potential investors and local partners, to strengthen and expand the local MSME sector and facilitate the development of new products and services which address the needs of the poor. Internet platform project is one of the GSB projects – a Web 2.0 solution – that provides translation services abroad.  Moldova is well positioned in this industry, especially thanks to its unique linguistic skills in both Romanic and Slavic family languages and the strong demand for Russian/Romanian/English translation services.


Tasks and responsibilities:
The objective of the assignment is to conduct a marketing research (including feasibility study) on the translation market, focusing on the Russian and Romanian speaking countries.
Qualifications and skills required:

  1. Academic background in economics, marketing or other related areas;
  2. Knowledge and expertise in Marketing and Strategic Management;
  3. Good analytical and writing skills;
  4. Fluency in written and spoken English.
