Background:
The Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister is established to provide the necessary advice to the First Deputy Prime Minister in creating and ensuring effective functioning of the system of strategic planning and policy coordination in the area of responsibility of the First Deputy Prime Minister. To this end, a small team of local consultants providing support to the First Deputy Prime-Minister was set starting January 2006 providing advice, assessment of main policy documents in the economic and social sectors, being responsible for monitoring of key commitments of the Republic of Moldova with its development partners.
Tasks and responsibilities:
The Junior Consultant working as part of the Policy Advice team is expected to provide ongoing advice and assistance to the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister by: monitoring the activity flow and maintaining of an up-to-date database of documents; supporting the development of new policy papers and setting up of inter-ministerial working groups; providing advice on sectoral issues.
Requirements:
Currently employed public servants, as well as those who have resigned from their positions less than six month prior to this announcement are not eligible to apply.
