Road Infrastructure Expert - “Improved Capacities for Managing Development” (Umbrella) project
Background
UNDP supports the national development priorities of the Republic of Moldova through capacity building in the formulation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of development policies and programmes and through strengthening the national capacity to mobilize donor resources for their implementation. Within this framework UNDP provides support to national authorities in developing the Compact proposal for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). One component of the full Compact proposal is designed to present the prospects for road infrastructure investment.
Tasks and responsibilities
- A. Identify and discuss possible road segments proposed for construction and rehabilitation
- B. Draft Road Infrastructure Component of Compact Proposal
Qualifications and skills required:
- University degree in Transportation, Engineering, Economics or other relevant field;
- Good knowledge of road sector issues;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in road infrastructure/ transportation;
- Experience in drafting TOR/business/project proposals is an advantage;
- Good report writing skills;
- Fluent in spoken, written Romanian. English is desirable but not crucial;
- Good computer skills (MS Office).
