Legal Consultant -“Increasing financial sustainability of Civil Society Organizations in the Republic of Moldova” Project
Background:
Taking into consideration the fact that the Law No. 125 regarding religious worships and its component units (17.08.2007, Official Monitor Nr. 127-130) entered into force in August 2007, the UNDP Project is seeking to employ a National Consultant who will provide assistance to the Ministry of Justice and elaborate templates of documents which are necessary for the registration of the religious worships, its component units, religious communities and institutions.
Tasks and responsibilities:
In order to achieve the proposed objective the Consultant shall:
- study the stipulations and requirements of the legal framework;
- elaborate the templates of documents for the registration of the religious worships, its component units, religious communities and institutions (registration application, minutes), templates of documents for cessation of activities of the religious worships, etc. based on the requirements of the legal framework and consultations.
Qualifications and skills required:
- University degree in Law and/or other relevant fields;
- Good knowledge of the legal framework in the field;
- Advanced experience in elaboration of legal documents;
- Skills in analyzing, generalizing, and systematizing of information;
- Communications abilities:
- Abilities to work in a team;
- Initiative and resourcefulness;
- Successful experience in working with UN system organization or other international organizations would be an asset.
